The Settings tab is an essential feature of your ChatNode AI bot, providing all the configuration options needed to fine-tune your bot’s behavior and interaction.
1. Prompts
- This section allows you to configure the bot's greeting message and system prompt. The System Prompt is where you provide specific instructions on how the bot should interact with users. In the example, the bot is set up as a customer service AI assistant for ChatNode, guiding users through troubleshooting steps and delivering fact-based support.
- You can adjust the tone of the responses (e.g., friendly, professional) and include any relevant information for how the bot should handle ambiguous requests.
- Creativity Slider: This feature allows you to adjust the creativity level of the bot’s responses. You can make the bot more focused or more creative depending on your needs.
2. Source URLs
- This setting enables you to add contextual URLs to enrich the bot’s responses. If the chatbot’s answer could benefit from external information, you can enable this option and provide URLs for the bot to reference.
- Toggling between "ON" and "OFF" gives you control over whether this feature is active or not.
3. Suggested Questions
- This feature allows you to add predefined questions to prompt the user during interactions. For instance, if your users commonly ask about sharing or improving the bot, you can pre-load these suggested questions for quick answers.
Important Reminder
- After making any changes, ensure to click the Save button to apply and confirm your changes.
This Prompt tab provides comprehensive control over how your bot interacts with users. By properly configuring these settings, you can optimize your bot’s performance and user experience.
