How to Share your Bot

By default, your bot is set to Private and can only be used within Slack. If you want people outside of your organization to interact with the bot, you'll need to change its settings to make it Public. Follow these steps to share your bot:

Step-by-Step Guide to Sharing Your Bot:

1. Navigate to the Sharing Tab:

   • Click on the Sharing tab. This is where you can control who has access to your bot.
     

2. Adjust Privacy Settings:

   • You'll see a toggle switch allowing you to set your bot to either Private or Public.
   • Switch it to Public if you want to allow access outside of your organization.
     
     

3. Bot ID:

   • You’ll also find the Bot ID, which is useful for identification purposes.
     
     

4. Share Your Bot:

   • Once your bot is set to public, you can use the Share Your Code button to generate a sharing link or code that can be distributed.
     
     
     
     
5. Click Save:
